This graphic was created using data on a household’s energy use obtained from NICIGAS’ Kumo no Ucyusen cloud management system.
We use the Kumo no Ucyusen system to visually graph activities and changes in communities in the digital space in order to provide services that put the customer first while maintaining a community mindset.

  • In 1964, the torch was lit for the Tokyo Olympics
    at the National Stadium.NICIGAS provided the gas for this flame.
    We began our LP gas business in 1955 and have become
    an integrated energy company supplying city gas
    and sales of electricity.
    We are proud to serve more than 1.45 million customers in Japan*1.
    We have the No. 1 LP gas share in the Kanto region*2,
    the most competitive market in Japan.
    Since market liberalization of the city gas business,
    more than 190,000 new customers*1 have told NICIGAS “I agree.”
    This achievement speaks to our smart energy revolution created
    from our pioneering use of ICT in the industry and rationalized prices.

  • We have entered into a business tie-up with TEPCO Energy Partner
    and begun offering an electricity and gas bundled product
    as an integrated energy service provider.
    In 2017, we established the new company Tokyo Energy Alliance together
    with TEPCO Energy Partner aiming to revitalize the city gas business.
    Procuring raw natural gas and ensuring safety have been barriers
    to entering the city gas business, so we have created and are offering a platform
    to facilitate market entry by companies from other industries
    and have built a framework to deliver a range of customer services.
